The Eraser called an Apology

Posted on Posted in Operation 615

The word for the day is “apology”.

Pencils are mistakes and a sincere heartfelt apology is like an eraser. It easily cleans the error away.

Excuses, on the other hand, is using saliva and your finger to clean the error. You only make a mess of things and leave an untidy work. You could even tear the paper. Mistakes are inevitable but instead of using saliva and your finger, use an eraser.

Saliva connotes words and finger is pointing blame.

You either apologize and make it right or stand on your right and make it wrong. What’s left if you are right and it’s wrong?

Sometimes saying sorry is the most difficult thing on earth but its the cheapest thing to save the most expensive gift called Relationship.

Remember, “never ruin an apology with an excuse” – Benjamin Franklin.

Operation 615, is a 52 day (14th May to 4th July 2018) passionate pursuit of the prophetic church growth agenda for the year 2018, after the order of Nehemiah (Nehemiah 6:15).
