The Thanksgiving Challenge

Posted on Posted in Daily Life Nuggets, Religion and Faith

For this week, don’t pray for anything, just thank God for everything. I’m serious, don’t ask God just give Him thanks. Thanksgiving could be in the form of praise and worship, also in the form of thanksgiving prayers (just recounting His numerous blessings) or sowing a seed to someone who needs it or to your church.

Do you know you can praise your way out of defeat? (Psalms 8:2)
Do you know you can praise your way from misfortune to favor? (Mark 6:21-23)
Do you realize that you can praise your way from sickness to health? (Proverbs 17:22)

Are you aware that one can praise their from bondage to total freedom? (Acts 16:25-27)
Do you know you can praise your way from being broke to abundance? (Psalms 67:5-7)
Are you aware that one can praise her way from barrenness to fruitfulness? (Romans 4:18-21)
Do you realize that the only thing God cannot give Himself is praise? (Isaiah 42:8)
Do you realize that as water is the natural habitat of a fish, praise and thanksgiving is the natural habitat of God? (Psalms 22:3)
Do you know that praise and thanksgiving qualifies you to carry God’s presence and when God is with you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31)

Do you realize that your degree of your altitude in life is directly proportional to your degree of gratitude to God? (Psalms 67:5-7)
Do you realize that Jesus healed 10 lepers but the only one that came to give thanks was made whole? (Luke 17:11-19)
Do you realize that when you pray God fights with you but when you praise, He fights for you? Big difference. (Exodus 15:11)
Do you know that praise is more potent than prayer? (Zephaniah 3:17)
Do you realize that when you are committed to thanking God, He is committed to doing more? (Psalms 103:1-5)

Are you aware that people are stranded in life because instead of appreciating God for what they have, they keep complaining and murmuring for what they don’t have? (1 Corinthians 10:10)

Complaining Complicates Circumstances (Triple C) while Praise Prospers People (Triple P).

Stop complaining, start praising.

So therefore for this week, don’t pray for anything, just thank God for everything you have (you are not sick, you are not dead, you are not in the hospital, you have a family, you don’t have a job but you have a CV, you don’t have a car but you have legs, you are not married but you are still alive and many others). Think and give Him sincere thanksgiving this week. Just one week. Let’s see what He will do in your life.

Let’s have the #ThanksgivingChallenge

Please don’t forget to message me when the testimonies start rolling in. Let’s thank God this week. Osheyyyyyy!!!!!
