Acknowledging of your self worth is the beginning of a victorious journey in life. This self awareness process involves knowing yourself and your abilities, and placing a high value on them. Self awareness doesn’t include seeing yourself naturally but seeing yourself in Christ. Phillipians 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”.
By reason of the Holy Spirit working in you, you can do all things; but you have to be aware of it.
How do you access yourself? Place your self before God’s mirror (The Bible). Just as the physical mirror shows you your physical image so also does the spiritual mirror (God’s word) reveal your spiritual worth and qualities.
Remember the story of David and Goliath. Under normal circumstances, David was only a small sherpherd boy and Goliath was a man of war from his youth. This was a mismatch in the right sense of the word but David knew his worth was not based on his physical appearance but based on the Word of God.
Men may access you as being unable, but what matters most is what you have discovered of yourself from the Word of God. 1 John 4:4 “..He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world”.
Whatever you are confronted with in life is in the world, and God says you are greater than it. Have a good evaluation of yourself, do not underestimate yourself. You need to make discoveries about yourself. Are you aware of the great potentials and creative abilities in you?
You inspire courage in yourself by placing a correct value on yourself. You are born for a purpose and God has placed on your inside what it takes to get the job done. Romans 8:37 says “..in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us”. Let this conquering mentality be in you, so you can assess yourself far above all situations.
The truth is this: until you despise yourself, no man can despise you. John Mason rightly said “No one can put a limit on you without your permission.” If you wait for people’s assessment of your abilities, you may never do anything.
In terms of relationships, its only a girl that doesn’t know her true worth that would settle down with a man that beats her, a man that abuses and disrespects her, a man that doesn’t cherish and love her like she should or a man that disregards her.
Its also only a guy that doesn’t know his self worth that keeps begging a girl to date him, that allows a girl look down on him, that lets a girl insult and disrespect him.
Do you let fear and rejection determine your self worth?
Do you let past setbacks determine your self worth?
Do you let your short height determine your self worth?
Do you let your flat boobs or ass determine your self worth?
Do you let your ex’s determine your self worth?
Do you let your bad result in school determine your self worth?
Do you let your jobless state determine your self worth?
Do you let your empty bank account determine your self worth?
Do you let your lack of husband determine your self worth?
Do you let your parents determine your self worth?
I am here to tell you that you are worth more than you think you are. It is time to examine yourself, because self-examination leads to self-awareness and that brings about fulfillment.
